Installing a TV

You might be wondering whether you can install a TV in your home. Depending on which type of property you live in, you may not be able to.

This information applies to customers who rent, leaseholders, and Shared Owners.

Can I install a satellite TV?

Please contact us first and we will see what is possible.

We will need to check your lease or transfer to see if there are any restrictions on fitting a satellite dish. 

Can I install a cable TV?

If you live in a house, bungalow or maisonette – yes. You can install a cable TV.

If you live in a flat or bedsit - there can be lots of complications around getting cable TVs installed in blocks of flats. Often a communal system is required. Please contact us first and we will see what is possible.

Can I install Sky Q?

If you live in a house, bungalow or maisonette – yes. You can install Sky Q as long as you are aware you are responsible for any repairs and/or maintenance.

If you live in a flat or bedsit – no. Unfortunately you cannot install Sky Q, as it will affect the quality of signal for our existing systems and other residents.
